Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

H&K Corpus Christi Concrete & Masonry, corpuschristiconcreteandmasonry.com, info@corpuschristiconcreteandmasonry.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or hire H&K Corpus Christi Concrete & Masonry for work at your house or property. By browsing the site, sending us a request or booking a job, you agree to them.

If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use the site or book work with us. If something here isn't clear, call us at (361) 232-9674 or reach us through our contact page before you go ahead.

What we do

We're a masonry contractor in Corpus Christi, TX, and we also do concrete work. Our services include foundation repair, chimney and brick repair, tuckpointing, retaining walls, pavers, walkways, stone veneer, block walls, fireplaces and outdoor kitchen masonry for homes in Corpus Christi and the cities around it.

What you see on our home page and service pages is general information about the trade and how we work. It isn't an inspection of your property or engineering advice, because we can't tell what your job needs until we've seen it in person.

Estimates and pricing

We give free in-person estimates, and there's no pressure to book. Your estimate is based on what we can see and measure on the day we visit, so it reflects the size of the job, the materials you pick, how easy the work area is to reach and the condition of what's already there.

Masonry and concrete work sometimes turns up problems that stay hidden until the job is open, like damaged brick behind a wall face, soft soil or rotted framing. If that happens, we'll stop, show you what we found and agree on any change in price or scope with you before we do the extra work.

An estimate is good for the period written on it. After that, material costs may have changed, so we may need to update the price before we schedule the job.

Scheduling, delays and cancellation

Once you approve an estimate, we'll set a start date with you. Dates can move because of rain, high wind, heat, material delivery, curing time or ground that's too wet to work, and we'll let you know as soon as we know.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, tell us as early as you can by phone or through the contact page. If we've already ordered special materials or started work, you may owe for those materials and the work done so far, as your written agreement explains.

Payment

Your written estimate or agreement sets out what you'll pay, when payments are due and whether a deposit is needed before we order materials or start. Payment is due on the schedule it gives.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until the account is current. You agree to pay reasonable costs of collecting an unpaid balance where Texas law allows it.

Our work and your satisfaction

We're licensed and fully insured, and we stand behind our workmanship. Your satisfaction is guaranteed, so if something about the finished work isn't right, call us and we'll come back out to look at it.

Any specific warranty on a job is the one written in your agreement. Materials such as brick, stone, pavers, mortar and sealers carry their makers' warranties, not ours, and we'll pass those along where they apply.

Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from ground movement, flooding, storms, hurricanes, salt air, tree roots, heavy vehicles, other contractors' work or changes made after we finish. Natural color and texture differences in brick, stone and concrete, and hairline cracks from normal curing, are part of these materials and aren't defects.

Website information

We try to keep this site accurate, but it's provided as it is, without promises that every detail is complete or current. Don't rely on it in place of an on-site estimate or advice from a qualified professional for your property.

Links to other websites are there for convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for what they say.

Limits on our liability

To the extent Texas law allows, our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of your property or damage from conditions that existed before we started.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Working out a disagreement

If you have a problem with our work or a bill, call us first at (361) 232-9674. Most issues get sorted out quickly once we've talked and looked at the work together, and we'd much rather fix it that way.

If we can't settle it between us, either side may take it to mediation or to a court in Nueces County, Texas.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version on this page is the one in effect. Changes won't alter a written agreement you've already signed for a job.

To learn more about who we are, visit our about page. For questions about these terms, call (361) 232-9674 or use our contact page, and we'll reply within 1 business day.
